Summary:
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.

IT Oracle Developer Viavi is seeking an Oracle APEX Developer who is experienced in developing integrated applications using Oracle tools, especially Oracle APEX. The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into solutions and implementation. Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop applications along with upgrades/implementations using Oracle APEX as technology - Develop integration routines and programs orchestrated by Oracle APEX - Interact with business users and other the technical teams - Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process - Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality code - Follow standards, best practices, policies and procedures for design and development
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Required: - Total 3+ years of experience with software development and implementation - 3 years of Oracle APEX and Oracle PL/ SQL based development and implementation experience - Strong working knowledge of web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, etc. - Self-starter and ability to learn new technologies quickly - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential - Experience in analyzing system requirements, business processes and information systems - Experience working with offshore-onshore delivery model - Ability to work under pressure and easily adapt an ever-changing environment - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - Integration with EBS will be a plus. Preferred: - Experience with Oracle EBS, Web Services like REST, etc. - Web development using latest Framework
