We Have Openings Oracle Database Admin for one of our Banking client in Bangalore location.
Payroll : Quess
Experience : 3 to 6 Years
Notice period : Immediate joiner or 15 days
Location : Bangalore
Skill : Oracle DBA, Oracle RAC, RMAN Backup
Work Mode : Work from Office
Interview Mode : F2F ( Face to Face ) on Tuesday ( 4-July-2026 )
CTC : 10 Lpa only
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Database Administration – Oracle Activities: • Database Space Management • Oracle RAC – Setup management, troubleshooting and fine tuning • Oracle RAC PT, Management, troubleshooting and fine tuning. • Database management • Database Performance Tuning • Database Backup/readability/ restore • NDR DB’s health checks • Oracle Data Guard – Physical Standby Database Management • Database DR Drill Switchover/Failover • Database Switchover and Switchback planned and unplanned. • Database Data Archival and Fragmentation • Reports and Documentation • Preparing, maintaining and updating SOPs at regular intervals. • Deliverables: Daily Reports & weekly Dashboards of all subsystem and system. • Knowledge on RMAN Backup configuration and support • Knowledge on RAC Cluster DB. • Capacity, performance, change & incident management services. (Oracle & MS SQL, details attached in Annexure-1). • Weekly & Monthly dashboards on devices performance, capacity management to be made available before 5th Working day of the month • Prepare adhoc reports and perform Adhoc activities. • Coordination with Oracle and Microsoft for Service/support request & escalations. • Upgrade Databases from lower to higher version • Patch set Updates apply on all in-scope Oracle Databases. • New application upgrades support prior to actual Upgrade. • Preparing RCA for Sev-1 incidents and problem management techniques. • Install and Configure DB Servers all versions. • VAPT Mitigations Database and DB Server binaries. • Manage Authentication, Access and Database Security (DB Vault, TDE , AVDF, Redaction) • Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards • Manage Disaster recovery aspects of databases
