Required Qualification and Experience
v Typically requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 12+ years of production oracle database DBA experience working in different releases like 11G, 12C and 1+C.
v Must be Oracle certified professional (OCP)in oracle database (12c or above).
v Must have experience writing optimal SQL and PL/SQL scripts.
v Proficiency in Database Performance diagnostics and Tuning.
v SQL Tuning; including analysis, optimizer hints, sql profiles, SPM and baselines.
v Experienced in installing and managing multi-tenant databases.
v Skilled and experienced with effective root cause analyses of Oracle database performance problems and resolving issues.
v Proficient in AWR analysis.
v Must have experience troubleshooting and supporting Oracle Advanced queues.
v Must have experience in database upgrades, patching, cloning and migrations.
v Must have expert knowledge and experience with RMAN backup & recovery.
v Must have expert knowledge and experience with DR Data guard, performing switchover and failover.
v Must be experienced working with OEM grid/cloud control.
v Must be experienced with various DBA tools like AWR, ASH, ADDM, TKPROF, TRACE Analyzer, Log miner, EXPDP/IMPDP, DBCA, NETmgr, ORAChk, DBSAT, EXPLAIN PLAN.
v Ability to prioritize, multi-task, while also making effective and timely decisions.
v Ability to educate, communicate and effectively present ideas/plans with colleagues, business and IT stakeholders to gain consensus on requirements
