Job Description
Oracle Support:
• Oracle RAC installation, configuration, patch application, monitoring database on AIX, Linux & Windows, configuration, patch application, monitoring database on AIX, Linux & Windows.
• Responsible for supporting the Oracle databases and ensuring their performance, availability and security in 24 X 7 environment.
• Proactive monitoring of database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.
• Problem escalation to Oracle Development team and third parties as appropriate.
• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes as required by client.
• Performance tuning of database systems.
• Standby and data guard configuration and monitoring, switchover and switchback of DR
• Migration and upgradation, Export-Import, Data pump, Rman, Backup and recovery.
• User Management, Hardening of Oracle databases, Unix Shell scripting skill
