TCS IS HIRING FOR Oracle Database Admin
ROLE: Oracle Database Admin
Experience Range: 4 to 7yrs(Relevant)
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata
JD:
Must-Have:
• Database setup and configuration performed by following the Database Security Model
• ******** Knowledge of the Oracle RDBMS database administration and Golden Gate Replication best practices
• Perform database patching and Upgrades
• In-Depth Knowledge and experience of Oracle Data Guard/Golden Gate replication and physical standby for Disaster recovery.
• Resolve moderately complex problems/projects through analysis, technical experience, and precedents; provide analysis for more complex issues, escalating as appropriate
• Demonstrated ability to use problem solving techniques such as root cause analysis to resolve issues
• Experience in small to large scale system projects including full development lifecycle and structured trouble shooting and analysis skills
• Experience in addressing database alerts/issues, capacity constraints and performance related items.
• Fully analyze performance issues in most critical and performance sensitive Oracle databases.
• Identify tuning opportunities, implement improvements and advice developers on SQL tuning options.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :
1 .Install and configure Oracle database including RAC and Datagaurds
2 .Maintenance and patching /upgradation of databases
3 .Implement and perform DR activities of databases
4 .Perfrormance monitoring and tuning
5 .DB migrations towards and from Oracle databases using Golden gate or any certified tool.
6 .Complete / semi automation of day-to-day activies.
