Job Title : Oracle Database Administrator (OEM)
Job Location : Hyderabad.
Job Type : Full Time
Shift Timings : Rotational Shifts (24 / 7)
Job Summary :
The Oracle DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications.
This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- 6+ years experience in database administration, operations and production support
- Experience in database and application performance tuning
- Strong experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Exp. in implementing Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control (OEM).
- Exp. in upgrading database Software and Databases using OEM
- Experience in Monitoring, Back up / Recovery Management, DB Provisioning / de-provisioning, DB refresh / restore, HA / DRE, Patching, migration, replication and upgrades
- Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management
- Experience in tools such as Service Now, JIRA, Confluence
- Experience with SQL and PL / SQL
- Sound knowledge on Golden Gate is an added advantage
- Ability to document solutions and train operational teams
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure is a plus
- Experience with automation, Ansible, Python is a plus
- Experience in Sybase, Cloud Control, SQL Server, Postgres, Cloudera, Hadoop is a plus
Desirable Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Flexible, team player, get-it-done personality
- Ability to organize and plan work independently
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
- Experience in financial domain is a major plus
- Certifications in this area is plus.
