Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
Define, implement and support database backup and recovery policies using RMAN.
Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
Perform database restoration and recovery in the event of a failure.
experience with Aix, Solaris and Linux (RHEL).
Supports large number of Oracle databases.
Production environments on Unix, Windows and Linux OS.
Performing Database Administration tasks independently in Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c and 1+c.
Db Upgrade.
upgrades, migrations and cloning.
backup, restore & recovery using Datapump or RMAN.
Installation and troubleshooting in RAC and Grid.
Lifecycle Management - Database creation, setup & decommissioning.
Event/alert monitoring, space management, user management.
Database monitoring.
Replication via Goldengate and Data Guard.
Adoptive for 24x7 Shift Support.
