Workday Consultant HCM & Financials
Experience: 6+ Yrs

Key Responsibilities/Duties:
• Design and support user interfaces and third-party integration components for Workday using tools such as Workday Studio, Report Designer (BIRT), Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Document Transformations, Calculated Fields, Report Writer/RaaS (Reports-as-a-Service), Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, XSLT, XPath, and JSON.
• Develop complex integrations with a strong understanding of Workday APIs.
• Experience in developing integrations like:
Financials: General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Banking Integrations, Credit Cards, Punchout.
HCM: Onboarding, Talent, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Learning.
• Utilize Agile methodology and collaborate with Agile teams for the full software development lifecycle.
• Gather and analyze end-user requirements to perform necessary investigations and evaluations.
• Could you perform unit testing and troubleshooting for Workday integrations?
Work Experience/Knowledge / Domain:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in technical integration development and support for Workday HCM and/or Financials, especially in GL, AP, Procurement, Banking, HCM, Benefits, Absence, and Payroll modules.
• Option to work Contract and Fulltime
• Expertise in Workday integration technologies such as EIB, Workday Studio, RaaS, and Connectors.
• Exposure to the healthcare industry would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of the technology and security requirements for SaaS platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases, software, and tools.
• Perform database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery planning.
• Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including availability, security, and performance.
• Implement and maintain database security (user management, encryption, auditing).
• Ensure high availability and minimum downtime through clustering, replication, and load balancing techniques.
• Optimize database performance through tuning queries, indexes, and other parameters.
• Manage database storage, capacity planning, and performance analysis.
• Support development teams with database design, SQL tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain documentation on database architecture, processes, and configurations.
• Assist in automation and scripting for efficient database operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with hands-on expertise in Oracle database technologies (e.g., Oracle 11g/12c/1+c).
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL scripting, and Oracle administration tools such as RMAN, OEM, Data Pump, etc.
• Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting for database automation.
• Experience with database backup, recovery, performance tuning, and security practices. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
