The mainframe database administrator (DBA) will be part of a mainframe modernization and optimization assessment team. . DBA will provide critical support to understand their current database landscape for mainframe applications and future needs. . Works with customer database personnel to understand their current database platform and future needs. . Assess current mainframe IMS /DB2 / IDMS database administration, supporting critical business initiatives, using the full suite of BMC and IBM tools and utilities. . DB2/IMS/IDMS Database administration experience, experience with mission-critical, OLTP applications preferred, including performance tuning, migrations, backup, and recovery methods. . Minimum 5-7 Years experience administering Db2 /IMS/IDMS for z/O.S. databases in an enterprise environment . Hands-on expertise in Database design, build, change, and implementation. .
