Responsibilities
Perform installation, configuration and upgradation of Database on all environment.
Implement distributed queuing on various platforms and clustering mechanism to reduce the administrative tasks
Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the performance using tools.
Should be flexible in working with team, work time etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum 8 Years Total Experience In IT Industry
Good knowledge in Database migrations/upgrades/patching in SAP application running with oracle database.
Should have worked in migration projects from one datacenter to other datacenter projects.
Hands on experience in managing Database Backups and Restore(RMAN/expdp)
Experience in installation, configuration and upgradation administration on UNIX environments to support Oracle DB along with RAC, RMAN, Dataguard, Goldengate.
Proven expertise to demonstrate database availability, backup configuration in very large size production database.
Ability to install, configure on ORACLE DBA Clustering and fix support packs on all OS platforms
Demonstrated ability to implement High Availability, Work Load Management and Fail Over, Disaster recovery and performance tuning
Reviews database usage & provides analysis to management for system improvements and enhancements
Experience in end to end implementation knowledge, design the environment, suggest the best approach for any given problems.
Should be able to demonstrate expertise knowlege in new features of oracle latest versions.
Manage SQL Server databases
Configure and maintain SQL server database servers and processes
Monitor system's health and performance
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
Skills:- Oracle DBA, DBA and Oracle Applications DBA
