Job Title: Oracle DBAs (Basis Reliability Engineers)

We are seeking experienced Oracle DBAs (Basis Reliability Engineers). As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle database software for our SAP environment. You will work closely with the infrastructure team to ensure the database environment is secure, robust, and meets the needs of the organization. Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain Oracle database software in accordance with best practices.
• Create and manage storage database structures with high-level security features.
• Assist the infrastructure team in sizing hardware requirements for the database.
• Perform all aspects of database administration, including installation, query optimization, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and enforce database standards, documentation, and procedures.
• Set up database user accounts and provide training to users on accessing information.
• Monitor and optimize database performance and capacity.
• Implement autonomous database backups and regularly update security protocols.
• Utilize Oracle management tools such as Data Guard, RMAN, and Data pump.
• Tune all Oracle instance components, including SQL and PL/SQL.
• Ensure high availability through failover technologies.
• Document and communicate database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external support functions to meet SLAs and operational KPIs.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, preferably in a SAP environment.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining Oracle database software.
• Experience in creating and managing storage database structures.
• Familiarity with hardware sizing for database requirements.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member, covering all facets of database administration.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Solid understanding of database security protocols.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle management tools, such as Data Guard, RMAN, and Data pump.
• Expertise in performance tuning, including SQL and PL/SQL optimization.
• Knowledge of Oracle failover technologies.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
