Job Description
• 8+ years technical experience in RDBMS Database Productson Hybrid infrastructure including Public Cloud.
• Experience in one or more of the technologies (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Experience on Azure Cloud Databases is an added advantage. Good understanding of cloud computing is preferred
• Database activities such as Administration and provisioning, Performance Tuning and Capacity Management, Backup, DR, Replication and HA
• Experience with common SRE tools such as Configuration, Alerting Observability.
• Experience with the software development life cycle, CI/CD, GIT, and code build pipelines. Hands-on experience on Gitlab, on writing automation script using Python / Golang, PowerShell / Bash, etc. is an added advantage.
• Familiar with infrastructure as code tooling (CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-driven, passionate professional with minimal need of supervision
• BS degree (in Computer Science or related area) or an equivalent.
