Job Title: Oracle DBA (8+ Years Experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Database Administrator with over 8 years of hands-on experience, including mandatory expertise in Oracle GoldenGate. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our Oracle environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor, and administer Oracle databases across production and non-production environments.
- Set up, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication.
- Perform database tuning, backup & recovery, patching, and upgrades.
- Ensure database availability, performance, and security in alignment with best practices.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support database-related activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain documentation on database environments and procedures.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of proven experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup strategies.
- Experience in high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL scripting and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle certifications (OCP, OCA) are a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based Oracle deployments (AWS, Azure, OCI) is an advantage.
