Oracle DBA L2 Support Mumbai - Belapur
Work from Office Setup Only
Must have experience in Oracle RAC, Dataguard - 12 C & 1+ C.
Exp 5- 7 Yrs
• Roles & Responsibilities
- Resolving User related queries in Production and Test Databases.
- As per client request creating new users and assigning profiles in production databases.
- User management and maintenance of all database users like granting a subset of privileges as per clients policy.
- Logical backup using Export-Import and Data Pump utility as per user request.
- Database bug-patching on requirement Creating Sql tuning sets and sql tuning advisory reports using OEM 12C for Improving performance of the database. Executing weekly analyzer on database for performance improvement.
- Monthly purging activity to gain database level space improvement Archival activity for performance improvement.
- Performance monitoring, Database installation and configuration Schedule RMAN backup and monitor RMAN status of all production databases.
- Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams such as UNIX, Windows, Network, Storage, Monitoring etc
- Document issues and associated resolutions to problems Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers
- Conduct user’s, customer’s and Team’s training Guide/Mentor the team members on technical problems which cannot be resolved at their level Ensure that Systems, Organization processes, & Unit practices adhere to Organization policies
- Active participation in Organization and Unit level initiatives
