Job Description
• Implement Hot, Cold and Logical backup plans.
• Applying CPU/PSU patches .
• Creation of users, roles, profiles, privileges and assigning roles to users and maintaining system security.
• performing export backup Using Data Pump and Export/Import Utilities .
• creating database links and materialized views
• monitoring the ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
• performing RMAN Backups
• generating AWR,ADDM reports and sharing to application team
• creating users and granting required privileges
• configuring RAC setup and DG set up
• creating new databases as per requirement
• generating plan details for sql queries
• tuning SQL queries
• analyzing performance issues and troubleshooting them
• planning backups and scheduling them
• working on job failure issues
• working on DB migrations
• participating in client meetings
