Performing both Oracle and also operating system performance Monitoring and the
necessary adjustments.
Be able to provide a strategic database direction for the organization.
Key Requirements
5 plus experience with ORACLE database administration.
Knowledge in Oracle 11g/12c.
Knowledge on Data guard.
Knowledge on RMAN backup and recovery.
Knowledge on RAC, installation, configuration, administration of ASM is an
added advantage.
Strong knowledge of RDBMS, oracle db architecture, memory structure.
Strong experience in Backup and restore.
UNIX and shell scripting skills is an added advantage.
Ability to prioritize, multitask and work with onshore and offshore teams Skills
Desired.
Performance tuning/troubleshooting complex queries and server
performance issues.
Proactively monitor the database and implement solution to reduce the
incidents/issues.
24/7 production support.
Knowledge on SQL Queries is an added advantage.
