JOB DESCRIPTION ORACLE 2-B - Be able to operate independently to provide quality work products; perform varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment: - Have excellent communication skills both written & verbal: - Have good interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with all stakeholders: - Have ability to present ideas and solutions in a clear & concise manner: - Be self-motivated with a lot of energy and drive: - Have the ability and willingness to learn: - Should have innovation aptitude and be able to design innovative solution to complex problems - Exadata/Core Database administration: - Oracle High Availability Solution (Oracle Data Guard): - Oracle Clusterware solution (Oracle RAC): - Oracle 10g,11g,12c,18c,1+c database administration experience: - Good hands on experience in RMAN and backup/recovery scenarios: - Good hands on performance tuning experience: - Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM): - Linux Operating System (Basic system admin experience) Experience in any Cloud infrastructure operations (AWS/GCP/Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/Azure): - Experience in Automation tools or experience in automation like AI/ML, Automation anywhere, Digital tools etc.: - Programming/Scripting language (Bash/shell, Python, pl/sql etc): - Exadata DOM0 and DOMU patching at kernel level would be preferred Your Responsibilities - As a member of Infrastructure Systems team, you will be responsible for the following -: - Working with remote and geographically distributed teams to enable building the right products, using the right building blocks and making them consumable by other products easily: - Be very technically hands-on and own/drive key end to end product/services: - Continuous Integration of Development changes, and making sure that the health of all systems is great: - Clone/refresh non-prod systems from production: - Patching, upgrades of all components of the system: - Deploying VMs and clusters: - Cross platform migration knowledge: - Standalone database migration to clustered environment.: - Backup and recovery of VMs, OCR files and databases.: - Help in cloud migration of systems: - Monitor system heal and respond as well as resolve to system alert events: - Work with development team to continuously enhance system performance: - Design and develop automation solutions in bash/python: - Manage CI/CD and version control systems: - Be an active contributor in improving processes/automations PL/SQL development background would be plus. Really good performance tuning skills. Good knowledge in OCI Cloud and Exadata would be preferred B.E/B.Tech/MCA
