System Administrator/OCI Expert
Job Description:
• Provide expertise in Oracle Exadata and OCI Architecture to ensure smooth system operations.
• Implement disaster recovery planning and strategy to minimize downtime.
• Drive major service calls from an Oracle infrastructure perspective, escalating as needed.
• Scale memory, CPU, and storage on ExaCS to optimize system performance.
• Work with clients to define processes and standards for compliance.
• Proactively identify opportunities for service delivery improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement NSG policies, whitelisting, block volume creation, and FSS management.
• Perform DOMU quarterly security patching and OS (Oracle Linux) maintenance.
• Configure and manage OCI backup utilities.
• Develop and enforce best practices for system administration and process optimization.
Requirements:
• 6-10 years of experience in system administration, preferably with Oracle Exadata and OCI expertise.
• Hands-on experience with OS (Oracle Linux), OCI, ExaCS, and OCI backup utilities.
• Strong understanding of NSG implementation, whitelisting, block volume creation, and FSS management.
• Expertise in disaster recovery planning and strategy.
• Ability to drive major service calls and escalate as needed.
