Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Design solutions, write technical specifications, test and code features for Oracle Utilities applications.
Serve as the product technical and configuration subject matter expert for Oracle Utilities solutions on projects, suggesting and researching solutions.
Develop enhancements utilizing the Application Framework toolkit or SDK such as batch jobs, web services, scripts, UI components and other functionality available in the framework.
Triage, debug and resolve defects.
Provide technical guidance delivery and product teams.
Assist Functional and Business team members with design and solutioning of client requirements.
Manage and document Oracle Utilities application configurations and utilize code repositories to store created assets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE) :
4-8 years overall experience in a relevant professional IT environment and software implementations / projects.
Hands on, development experience with Oracle Utilities applications and Oracle Utilities Application Framework
Demonstrate deep knowledge in SQL, XML, scripting languages, Java and / or Groovy.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a technical / software engineering area of study
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Ability to continue education on structured methodologies such as FADE, SDLC, Agile, and other best practices.
Desire to learn new technologies and utility business practices.
