An opportunity has become available for an Oral Health Therapist – Advanced to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
Your Responsibilities
Provide high level clinical leadership within the health professional and multidisciplinary teams.
Develop, deliver and participate in evaluation of specialised education and training programs as the health professional lead within OHS.
Advocate for and provide authoritative counsel regarding operational processes, initiatives and delivery standards of the oral health service.
Contribute to clinical governance and professional competence at a service level, providing clinical practice supervision and providing advanced training and guidance.
About You
To be successful in this position you will require:
A tertiary degree in Oral Health Therapy.
AHPRA Registration.
Possession of an appropriate User License issued under the Queensland Radiation.
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required.
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed.
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost).
