We are looking for an experienced individual for the role of Orchard Manger to join our team.

To be successful for this role, you must:
ü Have a qualification in business/horticulture/agriculture OR a minimum of 2 year work experience in horticulture/farming/agriculture or similar field.
ü Have excellent business acumen, communication & leadership skills
ü Be well organized with good time management
ü Be honest and enthusiastic with a positive and mature attitude
You will be responsible for:
· Ensure efficient running of orchard management activities.
· Workforce needs. Workforce forecasting
· Assist in recruiting
· Training and supervise staff. Monitor performance.
· Allocation of tasks/blocks/orchards to workforce on daily basis.
· Solve workflow problems by people management.
· Manage workforce time and leave records for payroll.
· Ensure that the work complies with occupational health and safety standards at all the times Arranging transportation and accommodation for orchard workers and staff as required. Liaising with company stakeholders
· Ensure that all orchards are well maintained
· Keep all records of equipment
· Ensure that access to all work sites is available as required.
· Perform kiwifruit tasks as required.
· Execute office management tasks as required
· Other tasks as required from time to time
Payrate - $30-32 per hour
Minimum Hours – 30 per week
Location of Work – Bay of Plentya Region
