Orthodontics & Cosmetic Marketing Manager
Full-time, 12 month FTC
Hybrid Working - Bristol office 1 day a week
The Role
The Marketing Manager for Orthodontics and Cosmetic dentistry is responsible for growing the presence and uptake of orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry treatments across our extensive portfolio of practices. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing brand awareness, driving patient engagement, and boosting market share through innovative and effective marketing strategies tailored to these specialties.
This key role collaborates closely with the wider marketing team, as well as the Product Development, Clinical and Operations departments, to evolve and refine our offerings in these areas. This partnership ensures that our marketing efforts are not only aligned with, but also actively support, our business objectives. The role demands robust management and leadership skills, while fostering a collaborative working style across all parts of the marketing department and cross-functionally throughout Bupa Dental Care and the broader Bupa organisation.

Previous experience in a fast-paced service or retail environment is advantageous, ensuring the effective oversight of the marketing needs for our 380+ dental practices.
Responsibilities
• Strategically develop and refine our orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry treatment offerings to better distinguish them from competitors, ensuring our services are innovative, effective, and tailored to meet the evolving needs of our patients.
• Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to understand current trends, market needs, and the competitive landscape, using insights gained to inform strategic decisions and positioning within the market.
• Increase brand awareness specifically for orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry under the broader Bupa banner through targeted marketing campaigns that align with Bupa’s overall brand values and market positioning.
• Work closely with the orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry product team owners to develop our orthodontic propositions and take to market plans.
• Forge and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to leverage their support in marketing efforts, product provision, and technological advancements, ensuring that partnerships are mutually beneficial and align with strategic marketing goals.
• Become a subject matter expert on orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry, staying updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to provide insightful leadership and guidance within the team.
• Benchmark and share best practices across the group to identify top-performing practices and disseminate their strategies for broad implementation.
• Manage and support the Total Orthodontics Field Marketing Manager, working collaboratively to support our operational teams for a completely joined up approach to orthodontics.
• Plan and execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies that effectively communicate the unique selling points of our orthodontic and cosmetic treatments, ensuring that all marketing efforts are cohesive, well co-ordinated, and results
• oriented.
• Work closely with the performance and content team to develop an online strategy for these treatment types, focusing on performance marketing tactics and online presence enhancement to reach a broader audience.
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes continuously.
• Engage with various stakeholders within and outside the organisation, including healthcare professionals, practice managers, and corporate partners, to ensure that marketing strategies are effectively implemented, and goals are met.
Skills/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive marketing management experience, ideally within healthcare, retail, or service-oriented industries, with a strong preference for experience in dental care marketing.
• In-depth knowledge of orthodontic and cosmetic treatments advantageous.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
• Proficiency in performance marketing, including experience working with digital teams to enhance online strategies.
• Skilled in market research and competitor analysis to guide marketing strategies and business decisions
