Role Responsibilities
• Perform orthopedic surgeries with a focus on precision and patient outcomes.
• Assess patients' injuries and conditions through physical exams and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment options and rehabilitation protocols.
• Evaluate and interpret diagnostic imaging and tests relevant to orthopedic conditions.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor recovery and adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Assist in orthopedic emergencies, providing immediate care and intervention.
• Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to the advancement of orthopedic practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery and technologies.
• Mentor and train junior surgeons and medical staff when necessary.
• Engage in clinical research and trials to enhance orthopedic practices.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines regarding surgical procedures and patient care.
Qualifications
• Medical degree (MBBS) from an accredited institution.
• Specialization in Orthopedic Surgery (MS/MD).
• State medical licensure to practice as a surgeon in India.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in orthopedic surgery.
• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and conditions.
• Proven track record of successful surgeries enhancing patient quality of life.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to patient safety and care quality.
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with minimally invasive surgical techniques is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare technologies.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development through continued education.
• Analytical skills for evaluating and improving surgical practices.
