We seek a creative and passionate Fashion Designer specializing in ethnic wear to join our dynamic design team. motifs, fabrics, and techniques relevant to ethnic wear.Develop sketches, mood boards, and designs to present your ideas.Choose appropriate fabrics, embellishments, and trims that align with the design and cultural significance.Develop detailed patterns and oversee the creation of sample garments.Collaborate with pattern makers and tailors to ensure accurate translation of designs into final products.Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are produced to the highest standards.Monitor the production process, including quality control and timelines.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.Experience:Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in designing ethnic wearSkills:Strong understanding of fabric properties and garment construction.Excellent sketching and illustration skills.Knowledge of traditional embroidery techniques and embellishments.Strong attention to detail and creativity.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
