Position Overview
Bayardo Safety is seeking a certified OSHA Outreach Trainer to deliver OSHA 10- and 30-hour training courses. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, with local travel required.
In this role, you will lead engaging safety training sessions, support compliance initiatives, and help foster a culture of safety across client organizations.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver OSHA 10- and 30-hour training courses (onsite and in-house)
• Develop and customize safety training materials based on client needs
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and regulations
• Evaluate workplace safety practices and recommend improvements
• Maintain accurate training records and issue OSHA cards
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to promote safety best practices
Required Qualifications
• Active OSHA Outreach Trainer certification (OSHA 500 and/or 501)
• Proven experience teaching OSHA 10/30 courses
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to engage and train diverse groups effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to travel locally within the Houston area
Preferred Qualifications
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Background in construction, oil & gas, or industrial environments
• Experience using safety management systems or databases
• Prior experience in professional safety training or a related role
