About the Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for experienced and passionate Educators who love working with school-aged children in vibrant and engaging Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) environments.
If you’re someone who brings energy, creativity and warmth, and you’re not afraid to join in on games, sports, craft, and homework help — we want to hear from you! Whether it’s before or after school, or during vacation care, our educators help create a space where children can have fun, feel safe, and grow.
This is a casual role with short shifts available (e.g. 3 hours in the morning and/or 3 hours in the afternoon), ideal for those looking for flexibility or supplementary hours.
You’ll be part of a dynamic team that nurtures each child’s sense of belonging and provides enriching programs based on their interests and developmental needs.
Your key duties will include:
Supporting engaging and age-appropriate activities for school-aged children
Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Contributing to the smooth daily operations of the OSHC program
Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
Assisting in planning and implementing play-based and recreational programs
Following policies, procedures, WHS and Child Protection requirements
What do I need to succeed?
Experience working in OSHC or with school-aged children is highly desirable
Certificate III in Children's Services (preferred not required)
Valid First Aid Certificate
A current Working with Children Check (NSW)
Understanding of the My Time Our Place (MTOP) Framework and NQS
Availability to work short shifts (morning and/or afternoon)
Enthusiastic, adaptable, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
