Diplomas and Degrees in Youth Work, Social Work, Allied Health, Health, Sport and Recreation, Creative Arts, Psychology, Behavioural and Social Sciences, Disability, Community Services and Leisure and Health, or two years completed of a four-year Teaching degree are accepted.

THE ROLE
Love working with children and leading a team? We’re seeking an OSHC Qualified Service Director to lead our vibrant after school care program at Unley Primary School.
As our OSHC Service Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading our passionate and dedicated teams to create a supportive work atmosphere and deliver outstanding programs that promote children's growth and development.

Your leadership and expertise will ensure that our care, recreation, and leisure programs are of the highest quality, providing children with the best possible experiences. You will inspire continuous learning and professional development among our educators, sharing information and knowledge on best practices, policy developments, and community changes.
As a motivated and customer-focused leader, you will go above and beyond to maintain the highest quality of service, placing a strong emphasis on the social, emotional, and interpersonal development of children.
The role is a part-time opportunity offering up to 33 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE Y
Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:
ACECQA approved Qualification - Cert III/IV, Diploma or higher-level qualification
National Police Check (issued in the last 6 months)
DHS Working With Children Check
International Criminal History Record Check (if worked/lived overseas in the last 5 years)
Certificate of completion for “Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care” Masterclass Training
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in Education and Care
HLTAID009 CPR
Food Handling Training
Sound knowledge of OSHC Quality Assurance and recognised School Age Care Framework
Strong leadership experience to staff, including training, quality improvement, support, and maintaining the standards of service (Desirable)
