OSP Field Engineer / MDU Field Engineer
📍 Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
💼 Employment Type: 1099 Contract
💰 Pay Rate: $40–$45/hr (based on experience)
🔧 Role Overview
We are looking for experienced professionals to support telecom fiber deployment projects, including aerial and underground network design, utility pole fielding, and MDU environments.
This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate field data collection, validating designs, and supporting smooth project execution.
📌 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct OSP field surveys (FTTH, FTTP, FTTx, MDU projects)
• Perform utility pole inspections and data collection
• Validate routes, design drawings, and construction readiness
• Assess MDU properties for fiber deployment (entry points, pathways, etc.)
• Document make-ready requirements and field conditions
• Work closely with engineering and project teams
✅ Required Experience
• 3–5 years of OSP fielding / telecom field engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of aerial & underground fiber deployment
• Experience with utility pole surveys & joint-use fielding
• Familiarity with MDU design and field verification
• Ability to read telecom design and construction drawings

• Willingness to travel locally
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
