About Us

Engenuity Fiber is a U.S.-based fiber engineering firm building top-tier FTTH, distribution, and backbone networks. We’re expanding our India team and are hiring OSP Design Engineers in Hyderabad who can deliver fast, accurate fiber designs during U.S. business hours.

Important Requirements – Please Read Before Applying

• You must work U.S. hours (Night shift, full-time, on-site in Hyderabad)

• You must be proficient in English (written and verbal).

• You must have hands-on experience with either VETRO or IQGEO (preferably both) and AutoCAD.

• If you do not meet these tool requirements, please do not apply

• Candidates with over 5 years of experience will not be considered

• You will be tested on-site for design competency before hiring

Key Responsibilities

• Create aerial and underground fiber designs (FTTH/backbone) in VETRO, IQGEO, Katapult, and AutoCAD

• Prepare detailed HLDs, LLDs, BOMs, splice diagrams, and permit-ready plans

• Analyze GIS data, field inputs, and redlines for route planning and permitting

• Handle pole loading analysis, MRE tasks, and aerial clearance assessments

• Ensure U.S. standards compliance (NESC, pole attachment rules)

• Collaborate with U.S. engineering teams and deliver accurate design packages on schedule

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil, ECE, or Geospatial Engineering

• 3–5 years of OSP fiber design experience (FTTH or backbone)

• Proficiency in VETRO, IQGEO, and AutoCAD

• Strong command of GPON, HLD/LLD flows, and permitting

• Clear communicator with excellent English

• Precision-focused with a commitment to quality and compliance

Additional Qualifications (Good to Have)

• Experience with SiteTracker, 3-GIS, ArcGIS, O-Calc, Katapult

• Familiarity with U.S. permitting workflows and splicing matrices

• Understanding of cost estimation and clearance protocols
