OT Technician
Job description
1. O.T inventory (medicine& disposable items.)
2. Anaesthesia machine callibration,vapouriser with fluid & sodalime changed ,
3. Ensure Anaesthesia gas pressure & suction pressure is proper.
4. Induction trolley check like Laryngoscope, Boogie, Macoy ,styllet, magill forceps, mouth air way, nasal air .tube fixation & air syringe, all size &all types E.T tube, suction catheter,
5. OT table checked everyday morning time.
6. C-arm, neuro drill, cusa, microscope, navigation & cautery machine checked dailly.
7. All laparoscopy & aurthopadic set with CO2 cylinder etc.
Before the anaesthesia
• Before the anaesthesia checked patient i/v line is proper functioning
Before the anaesthesia checked Patient denture
Before Operation
• Apply dvt pump if compulsory
• Check cautery plate place in proper
• Tourniquete cuff is proper tie &leaking checked.
AFTER SURGERY
1. Remove the dvt, torniquete & cautery plate.
2. Patient shift OT to post -operation room &given over.
3. You are responsible to supervise the OT cleaning, washing mopping, change
hme filter ,clean mask & change ventilator circulate, OT ready for next operation.
