CRH ENT, MRI and Diagnostics, a leading healthcare facility in Nagpur and Noida, is seeking qualified OT Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the operation theatre, including the proper maintenance of OT equipment, such as anaesthetic machines and ventilator systems. You will play a key role in preparing and maintaining the OT environment, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to. Your responsibilities will also include documentation and ensuring an adequate supply of oxygen and other essential materials. Responsibilities:
• Ensure the proper functioning of all OT equipment, including the anaesthetic machine, heart-lung machine, and ventilator equipment at CRH ENT, MRI and Diagnostics.
• Maintain and update operating room records and documentation.
• Conduct routine physical inspections of all OT equipment to ensure everything is in working order.
• Ensure that there is a consistent and sufficient supply of oxygen and suction in the operating room.
• Oversee the documentation and completion of OT fumigation procedures.
• Regularly check and ensure that the central oxygen pipe is functioning properly.
• Maintain the OT environment by ensuring that temperature and humidity levels are in accordance with safety protocols at CRH ENT, MRI and Diagnostics.
• Ensure proper scavenging of anaesthetic gas emissions to maintain a safe and clean operating environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and safe operations in the OT.
• Adhere to all safety and sterilization protocols in the operating theatre.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Certification in Operation Theatre Technology is required.
• 0-5 years of experience as an OT Technician, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic setting like CRH ENT, MRI and Diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of OT equipment and its maintenance, including anaesthetic and ventilator machines.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and sterilization processes in an operation theatre.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure timely completion of duties.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required.
