Secure and prepare all supplies required for surgical intervention
Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field in the OR
Perform instrument counts prior to each procedure
Prepare patient skin for surgical treatment
Position and re-position patient during surgery
Help monitor patients during surgery
Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase
Perform scrub functions
Collect and label specimens taken during a surgical procedure
Follow all federal, state, and departmental safety procedures
To provide nursing care in the Operating Department and as a skilled member of the Theatre team.
To act as the scrubbed or circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
Participating as a Scrubbed member of the Theatre team and carrying out safety checks of swabs, instruments, and needles, in conjunction with a second nurse and reporting on the same to the surgeon.
Acting as a circulating member of the Theatre team.
Assisting other members of the team in the preparation and cleaning of Theatres.
Assisting in the compilation of the Theatre register. Labeling and dispatch of laboratory specimens to the recovery area. Providing assistance to the Anesthetic and Surgeon as required.
Checking, witnessing, and administering controlled and scheduled drugs.
Co-operating with appropriate Departmental and Ward staff in sending patients to the Operating Department.
Advising senior nurse or Theatre manager of proposed changes in the order of the operating lists.

Salary: ₹12,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
