Job Description
We are looking to hire a Outside Sales Representative in the event rental industry. This role plays a key part in generating revenue, building strong industry relationships, creating new business opportunities, and expanding our presence within the event industry. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, relationship-driven, and passionate about sales and networking.
This is not a desk-only sales role. We are looking for someone who thrives on building connections, being present in the industry, and creating opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship management.
This position is a full-time position reporting to the CEO, based at 12 South Landing Drive.

Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth & Sales Development - Drive company growth by developing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and increasing overall sales revenue.
Lead Generation & Prospecting - Actively network, prospect, and build relationships within the event industry to generate new leads and opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, venues, planners, and industry partners through exceptional communication and service.
Brand Representation & Market Presence - Represent Collective Event Rentals professionally within the community through networking events, meetings, site visits, and industry functions.
CRM & Reporting - Maintain accurate client records, sales activity, follow-ups, and pipeline updates within company systems and reporting tools.
Skills & Qualifications
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required, as regular local travel and client visits are part of the role
Previous sales, business development, customer service, or relationship management experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Highly motivated with a strong drive to generate revenue and grow accounts
Confident networking and communicating with clients, venues, vendors, and industry partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple leads and opportunities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and standard software systems
Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
