Overhead Door Company of Lethbridge/Calgary/Cranbrook is a trusted distributor specializing in high-quality residential and commercial Overhead Door Products. With a legacy of excellence dating back to 1+21, we pride ourselves on enhancing safety, security, and convenience in the places where people live, work, and go.
We are actively seeking experienced Garage Door Technicians to join our team at our Cranbrook branch.
Responsibilities:
Install, service, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on residential and commercial overhead sectional doors
Install, service, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on residential and commercial overhead coiling doors
Install, service, repair and conduct preventative maintenance on sliding steel fire doors
Install operating devices for doors, dock levelers, and electric gates
Setup access control devices for residential, commercial and industrial sites

Requirements:
Must provide a clean driver's abstract
Good mechanical aptitude
Demonstrated ability to understand and work with common power tools
Able to lift up to 80 pounds and carry for a distance of up to 50 feet
Able to read and write legibly and accurately
Able to communicate in English
Able to walk and carry items on uneven ground
Qualifications:
Proficiency in using hand tools, construction, and carpentry techniques
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Familiarity with power tools and mechanical systems
Strong English communication skills
