Are you a night owl who loves to bake? A la Mode Pies, one of Seattle's most respected bakeries, is seeking an overnight baker at our West Seattle kitchen - located ten minutes from downtown Seattle. With two neighborhood cafes (and more on the way), A la Mode Pies is currently one of the fastest-growing businesses in the Pacific Northwest (PSBJ). Employees have the flexibility to learn new skills and develop new items while working alongside an experienced group of bakers who truly love making pie.
This position will help manage fruit pie production. We are open to either full-time or part-time, but availability on Thursday-Saturday evenings is required; please do not apply unless you are available 10pm to 6AM on those days. Shared prep work and cleaning are also part of the daily schedule. Minimum of 2 years of bakery/production experience is required.
Compensation is $23 per hour plus tips (the combined hourly wage is $28-$30 per hour), plus free espresso and pie while working. You should be self-driven, demonstrate strong communication skills, keep calm under pressure, and excel at multi-tasking.
