Qualifications
This is a great opportunity for a candidate that has a minimum of 12 months of supervisory or assistant management level experience within a luxury hotel setting
The ideal candidate will have multiple divisional experience but not required
The candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills to lead a team and provide an exceptional guest experience
The candidate must be passionate and goal driven with a desire to work towards a department head role
The role requires flexibility, strong organizational skills and adaptability
A genuine passion for excellence and continuously setting the bar high in all areas of the resort is a must for this position
The home department is Front Desk, but the candidate must be able to oversee and assist in different departments if business requires
Excellent communication and organizational skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
Must have previous Rooms Division experience in a managerial role
Able to efficiently and effectively handle stressful situations and guest concerns/complaints
Must have Front Office experience
Work authorization for this location is required

Responsibilities
Manages the staff at the Front Desk & Overnight Team
Serves as manager on duty and point of contact during overnight shifts
Interviews, trains and schedules the staff and conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed
Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department
Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved
Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups
Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed
Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available
Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies

The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is looking for an Overnight Resort Assistant Manager to join our exciting Rooms team.
