Pad Printing Technician (Full-Time | Day Shift)

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Ottawa Mould Craft is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Pad Printing Technician to join our growing production team. If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, take pride in quality, and want to be part of a stable, team-focused environment — this could be the role for you.
This is more than just operating a machine — you will be responsible for full machine set-up, precision adjustments, and ensuring every printed part meets cosmetic and customer quality standards.
What You’ll Do Machine Set-Up & Operation
Perform complete pad printing machine set-up, including mechanical adjustments, fixture alignment, plate installation, and changeovers
Prepare tooling and fixtures for various part configurations
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate image placement and print consistency
Troubleshoot and correct issues such as misalignment, ink inconsistencies, or incomplete transfers
Ink Preparation & Quality Control
Mix and manage ink to proper viscosity and colour specifications
Monitor adhesion, clarity, and cosmetic standards throughout production
Conduct in-process inspections to maintain quality targets
Identify and address defects before product moves forward in production
Production & Documentation
Load/unload parts efficiently while meeting daily production targets
Properly rack printed parts for curing to prevent damage or defects
Accurately record production counts, inspections, and material usage
Ensure finished products are counted, labeled, and packaged correctly
Dual Role – Production Support
This is a dual-function position. When pad printing is not running, you will support the team by performing general Operator duties to maintain production flow and efficiency.

✔ Basic mechanical aptitude
✔ Basic computer and math skills
✔ Ability to lift up to 25 kg
✔ Comfortable standing/sitting for extended periods
✔ Able to perform repetitive work while maintaining focus
