Full job description
Our client is an Industry-leading producer of high-quality, custom coil-coated metal products for more than 50 years, seeking a knowledgeable, self-directed, experienced in the manufacturing process to work in our sheet metal fabrication facility on rotational shifts.

Own Tools/Equipment:

Steel-toed safety boots

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination, Standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift Up to 30 lbs

Punctuality, Reliability, Initiative, Excellent oral communication, Team player, Dependability, mathematical aptitude.

Skills and Abilities:

· Must be willing to work Scheduled rotational shifts, overtime, and sometimes weekends.

· Must be computer literate.

· Clean machines and immediate work areas.

· Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English.

· Working knowledge of mechanical equipment (i.e. mechanically inclined).

· Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

· Ability to accurately read measuring instruments (i.e. Imperial measuring tape)

· Willing to commit to a full-time and long-term job.

The position is responsible for:

mixing of paints
Assisting operators in setting up of equipment for production
Ensures proper paint and equipment are at the Coaters
Pumps paint into cooling drums
Agitates paints
Checks viscosity of paints
Shift:

Day Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM/ Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM / Night Shift: 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM (Mandatory Rotational every week)

Note: References and Consent for Criminal Background checks are required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
