Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Odours. Work setting: Various locations. On-site customer service. Tasks: Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted. Repair cracks and holes. Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings. Apply paint, wallpaper and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. Equipment and machinery experience: Brush painting. Conventional spray painting. Roller painting. Surface preparation experience: Drywall taping/patching. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Ability to distinguish between colours. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Physically demanding. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Personal suitability: Initiative. Reliability. Team player. Screening questions: Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?. Do you have previous experience in this field of employment?. Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years.
