Job Description
Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, water-blasting, and filing cracks or holes
Apply primers, sealers, undercoats, varnishes, and finishing coats
Mix and match paint colours as required
Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial buildings
Operate painting tools and equipment safely and responsibly
Erect and work from ladders, scaffolding, and mobile platforms
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
Assist with any other painting-related duties as required
Skills and Experience Required
At least 1-2 years of relevant experience as a painter
Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and paint application
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
