Hot Weld Fabrication is seeking a Painter to work in their busy steel fabrication workshop in Bunbury, South West of Perth WA.
Applicant must have a positive attitude in a team environment, strong work ethic and be reliable. They must have a great attention to detail and show initiative and pride within their work.
The applicant must be prepared to work and learn how to operate a state of the art surface treatment facility including painting in a control heated booth environment. There are great opportunities for career development.

The role will include:
Surface preparation, priming, and painting materials
Applying materials to fill holes and sanding back ready for painting
Mixing and measuring paints to different specifications
Applying paints using brushes, rollers and spray units
Opportunity to use state of the art painting equipment
Selecting and mixing paints to required colours
Clean up of work areas and equipment
You will be required to:
Be physically fit
Operate a forklift
Wear correct PPE and safety equipment
Paint to a high quality
Strong attention to detail, knowledge of materials, and ability to work as a team or independently
Apply paint to protect and maintain building and structure surfaces
Work within a team environment
Must have a ‘C’ Class manual drivers licence
Position available is full time, working 5 days a week with ample overtime and weekend work if wanting more hours. You will be home every night.
Must be able to undergo pre-employment medical including drug and ******* screening.
Training and supervision will be provided.
Experience is not necessary if you are the right candidate for the position.
Base Annual Salary $70,000 to $85,000
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
