Deveraux Apartment Communities has been a comprehensive, professional property management firm since 2011. It presently manages over 5100 multi-family apartment units in Regina, Moose Jaw, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Calgary. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team.

What you bring...
Minimum 3 years experience, Red seal certification would be an asset but not necessary
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with various painting techniques, including cutting, rolling, brushing, and spraying, is essential. This includes knowing how to create smooth, even coats and blend colors seamlessly.
Proficient in drywall repair, mudding and taping to create smooth and seamless wall surfaces.
Excellent knowledge of painting materials and how to select, mix and apply them
Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques
Aptitude in using appropriate tools (rollers, brushes, sprayers, caulking guns etc.)
Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
Conscientious with great attention to detail
You will...
Work extended hours during month end as necessary
Make on-site preparations such as, masking, covering fixtures etc.
Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.
Fill cracks, gouges, and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
Adhere to all health and safety precautions and policies
Additional Information
You must be legally eligible to work in Canada (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
