Qualifications
May be required to physically perform mold remediation in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local regulations
Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying
Four (4) years of related painting experience;
Equivalent to completion of recognized two (2) year painting apprenticeship program;
Two (2) years of varied journey level painting experience
Knowledge of: Standard practices and techniques of the trade; paints, varnishes, stains, shellacs, lacquers, enamels, solvents and other materials used in painting and finishing; and hazard and safety precautions
Skill at: Working independently; understanding and carrying out verbal and written instructions; basic computer skills; maintaining necessary records, and reports mixing paints and matching, blending, harmonizing and contrasting colors, tints and shades; preparing reports pertaining to work performed; handling a variety of work orders and completing work on schedule; performing manual labor; and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Special Requirements: Applicants will be required to pass physical and full mask or half mask respirator fit test( if able) under this requirement, the employee may not be able to have certain facial hair, like beard, long sideburns or mustache that may interfere with the passing of the fit test
May be called upon on off-hours for school emergencies, such as burglaries, vandalism, fires, snow removal, equipment failures, flooding, etc
Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid Nevada State Operators license with a driving record acceptable to the district
Certification: AHERA 16 hour asbestos training
Asbestos certification will be required within the first 12 months of employment
Certification will be required within the first 12 months of employment
. Must have the ability to enter all areas of a facility including attics and crawl spaces
To some extent, the frequency or intensity of physical exertion must also be considered

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS

Education/Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and skills is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and skills would be:
