Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both residential and industrial painting, with the ability to work on various projects that require attention to detail and a commitment to quality. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high standard of finish in all painting tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.

Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

Read and interpret schematics and project specifications to determine the appropriate materials and techniques needed for each job.

Restore and maintain existing painted surfaces to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal.

Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the painting process.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of each project.

Skills

Proficient in residential painting techniques as well as commercial painting practices.

Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Experience using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting profession.

Knowledge of restoration techniques for various surfaces is a plus.

Comfortable in working at heights with the ladder .

Minimum 2 years if experience needed.
