Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Inspect and prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., sanding, filling cracks, cleaning walls).
Remove old paint using appropriate tools and methods (e.g., scraping, heat guns, sandblasting).
Repair surface imperfections such as holes, dents, and cracks.
Painting and Finishing:
Mix and match paints and other finishes to achieve desired colors and consistencies.
Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Apply primers or sealers to prepare surfaces.
Maintenance and Repairs:
Conduct touch-ups and repair work as needed.
Maintain paint equipment and tools in good working condition.
Perform routine inspections to ensure coating integrity over time.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow all health and safety regulations (e.g., use of protective gear, safe handling of chemicals).
Set up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment safely.
Ensure proper ventilation and disposal of hazardous materials.
Customer and Team Communication:
Communicate with supervisors, contractors, and clients to clarify requirements.
Provide updates on job progress and report any site issues or delays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $52,482.++ – $100,581.24 per year
