Overview
Teschner Painting, a well-established NON UNION contractor known for delivering top quality commercial painting and wallcovering services for over 40 years is seeking a dedicated self-motivated detailed and skilled painter/wallpaper hanger with at least 5 years of experience to join our team.
Duties
Wallcovering installation includes cutting, applying adhesives and hanging wall paper.
Knowledge and ability to work with paste tables and machines. Install a variety of commercial wallcoverings. Ensure high quality finishes and attention to detail
Prepping and painting surfaces. Applying paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers and sprayers.
Ensure all work meets our quality standards and client specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate and work effectively with team members and project managers.
Ability to work nights and occasional weekends
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience hanging wallpaper. Familiarity with different types of wallpaper and adhesives. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of operating conventional and airless spray equipment. MUST have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. MUST provide proof of citizenship for I-9 compliance. Ability to work nights are a MUST
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
