What You Will Do:

Remove Sucker Rods from the Paintline machine after they have been painted

Perform quality inspections

Sort, crate, and package material to be shipped to the customer

Use the strapping gun to band the material together

Perform minor machine adjustments and maintenance

Complete all associated paperwork, including, but not limited to, quality plans and cleaning plans

Assist crane operators with the strapping/rigging of crates

Clean working area, including cleaning & controlling any paint spillage

Work in a safe manner, follow all rules, regulations, and legislation

Follow Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement guidelines

Position Details:

Working at the South Edmonton Sucker Rod facility exclusively

Permanent

Full-time

Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)

Weekend shift may be required dependent on business conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent organization skills

Reliable

Able to follow directions from other personnel

Able to prioritize

Able to work in a team environment and with others

Able to read, write and effectively communicate in English

Available for overtime or shift work as needed

Pre-employment Requirements:

Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
