PAK'nSAVE Westgate

We are looking for an experienced Baker to join our dynamic Bakery Department. Your in-depth knowledge of retail bakery operations, superior dough skills and hard-working nature will make you a key member of the team, you'll need to be innovative, have passion for your profession, sound commercial awareness and understand what customers want.

Our Bakers produce wide range of baked goods including various breads, muffins, cakes and cookies to meet our customers' expectations in quality and availability. PAk'nSAVE Westgate also provides cakes to order so if you are a skilled cake decorator that would be advantageous.

To Succeed in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 1 years' experience in a retail (ideally supermarket) or Bakery.

A Bakery or Culinary qualification is required.

Expert product knowledge.

Knowledge of Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards that apply to a Bakery and demonstrated adherence to these standards.

A customer-focused approach.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

A positive, 'can-do' attitude.

To be physically fit and strong.

The hours for the role are:

Tuesday 3:00 - 11:30am

Wednesday 3:00 - 11:30am

Thursday 3:00 - 11:30am

Friday 3:00 - 11:30am

Saturday 3:00 - 11:30am
