Duties And Responsibilities
• Defines how to automate processes as well as deployment tasks. Administer cloud infrastructures based on Azure, AWS and Hybrid Cloud.
• Work closely with architects and Product Owners to design and build the operational processes in DevOps manner based on enterprise guidelines and standards.
• Work closely in Agile Squad for developing required ansible playbooks for different services.
• Takeover of ansible infrastructure and playbooks from the vendor.
• Proactive monitoring of ansible-playbook execution, failures and reporting
• Build and maintain playbooks for different services.
• Manage playbooks using ansible tower with version control.
• Migrate existing playbooks and make changes to the central environment.
• Support migration of existing config scripts to ansible.
Technical (Must Have)
• Linux knowledge.
• Hands-on experience in Ansible automation.
• Knowledge in setting up new ansible environment
• Experience in ansible playbook write/update/maintain.
• Knowledge of Ansible role creation/maintenance for projects.
• Knowledge of installing new ansible module and upgrade.
• Able to understand and work on existing ansible automation roles/playbooks.
• Create/manage templates
• Schedule the jobs as required
• Manage inventories
Technical Skills (Desirable)
• Knowledge in Ansible Tower
• Level 2/3 troubleshooting.
