Job Description
Assist the lawyers in preparing for trials, hearings, and closings. A large part of this consists of conducting legal research and gathering relevant information to the case. This includes researching the facts of the case as well as identifying the appropriate laws, judicial decisions, and legal articles relevant to the case.
Attend court hearings, request for date extensions on behalf of advocates, debrief the lawerys on what had transpired in the court
Maintain the dates for various hearings and ensure all the required paperwork is filed.
Maintain organization of all court cases, hearings, depositions and other court-related material.
